My vision for a thriving agricultural sector would be to generate self sustainability in producing whatever produce our farmers able to grow here instead of importing. This means supporting our local farming businesses, making more local farm markets through-out the island and opening up more lease land. The County and State could support this vision by assisting with the processing of these produce with grants to help farmers get started and build processing plants.
